  There is a variety of wedding venues from the popular Coeur d'Alene Resort to area resorts, golf courses, lodges and ranches. A private venue we highly recommend is Rider Ranch, owned by the 3rd generation of the Rider family. The Rider's run a unique and popular wedding and reception facility right in our beautiful Wolf Lodge neighborhood! We highly value those that focus on highlighting the charm and integrity of the family farm, sustainable practices, and wild places. The Rider's provide one "heckuva" wedding venue at very affordable rates! The Rider's do an exceptional job caring for their facilities, their animals and the land they are so blessed with. Their ranch is an authentic working ranch. There is so much to see, experience and learn at this unique setting within 10 miles of Coeur d'Alene. The ranch also offers guided horseback trips into the surrounding mountain landscape. We have had the pleasure of experiencing their horseback tour with our family and highly recommend it to anyone.... whether or whether not you are visiting the ranch for a wedding gathering.   There are many great romantic rental houses and cabins in the greater Coeur d'Alene area. For those that want to be right on the lake or in downtown Coeur d'Alene, there are tons of beautiful rental properties. The only setback to any rental in these locations is that you will more often than not be in the close proximity of immediate neighbors. We may be biased, but we think you'll find everything you're hoping for in mountain country! For those seeking the peace, tranquility and privacy you deserve; we feel our 40 acre mountain retreat offers the ideal package for newlyweds and couples in general to spend quality time together without distraction. With hiking trails, wildlife and boundless sunrise and sunset views, our property highlights the romantic nature of North Idaho's wilderness. If you have a dog of honor, well, we happily accept them as well! If you are looking for additional accommodations in the immediate neighborhood for the wedding party, we highly recommend Elk Mountain Ranch! The Dickson's have a great property and the layout of their home is ideal for larger groups. Their property and ours are the only two vacation rental homes in the Wolf Lodge district!
